Balenciaga is a French luxury brand, which belongs to the Kering Group. Its products mainly include men's and women's ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes, fragrance and accessories. Balenciaga is a luxury fashion house founded by Spanish designer Cristóbal Balenciaga in San Sebastian, Spain in 1919, and was later acquired by French luxury group Kering. Balenciaga closed in 1972 and reopened under new ownership in 1986. Owned by Kering, Balenciaga is headquartered in Paris.
