After several years on Wall Street, Lisi Lerch launched her firm in the spring of 2001. Her label originally offered classic Kentucky Derby hats, which she was inspired to create due to a lack of affordable millinery hats she saw on the market. A few years later, she decided to test the waters and venture into jewelry making, which instantly became an obsession. As much as she loved designing hats, hats quickly became a traveling nuisance as her family grew. Because of this, Lerch decided to change direction and focus on creating jewelry, which she discovered was her true passion. A lover of antique jewelry, Lisi Lerch credits the creative direction of her jewelry to her grandmother's fine jewelry collection. Growing up, she was fascinated by her grandmother's stunning jewels, which always had incredible stories behind them. In addition to jewelry, Lisi Lerch now also offers clothing and bags.
