As a brand, Naghedi is committed to ethical and sustainable practices. Naghedi's original intention was to create a durable and classic bag with state-of-the-art fabrics that are durable and easy to clean and maintain. We work directly with our factories and visit them frequently to ensure the highest operating standards. Our bags are individually handwoven and our skilled weavers can only produce one or two bags per day. That said, we are also looking to expand our manufacturing relationships and continue to explore ways to produce sustainable products, such as using recycled and recycled neoprene.
Sara Naghedi launched her eponymous label, Naghedi, in 2016 after nearly 20 years in the accessories world. Tired of the waste of seasonal fashion and bags falling out of fashion every few months, she set out to create a timeless collection that could be carried through the seasons. Sara wants to end the need to constantly update bags that end up being thrown away. Naghedi's signature line of hand-woven neoprene totes are designed with versatility and style for the modern woman.
