After founder and serial entrepreneur Kilee Nickels couldn't find a gold version of her favorite statement earrings, she decided to design her own using leather she had on hand from her former accessories business. Little did she know that these teardrop statement earrings would start a movement and bring innovation to the accessories market—the lightweight statement earrings capitalize on the versatility, durability and light weight of premium Italian leather. Nickel & Suede's statement earrings quickly developed a following and a group of women who were willing to try new things, step out of their comfort zone, and inspire others to do the same.
Fast-forward seven years, and what once started as a side project in Nickels' small basement workshop has grown into a national brand with three retail locations, as well as a design office and production facility in Kansas City.
