When L'ovedbaby launched the Cotton Basics Collection™ of traditional cotton garments in 2005, our primary goal was to provide safe, minimally processed 100% cotton garments. That means no harsh chemicals added, no dangerous flame retardants, and safe and gentle dyes used. After much research, we discovered the added benefit of switching this Cotton Basics Collection™ to 100% certified organic cotton. Organic is not only safer for our small customers and the environment, but equally important to cotton farmers who are at risk of serious disease from close exposure to many cancer-causing pesticides that are still used in conventional cotton farming today
