Our founders started Ghost Democracy out of a need for industry change after 12+ years at a major beauty company. Knowing what the truth is, Chief Ghost is very passionate about creating a clean skincare brand that is as transparent as its ingredients. Gone are the days of supporting the use of cheap chemicals for high-quality alternatives and raising costs for profit.
Our philosophy is based on three guiding principles: less chemicals = more actives; everyone can use it; fewer chemicals = more actives.
Not only are we "No Sulfates, No Parabens", but we've also carefully formulated compounds that are free of silicones, essential oils, fragrances, drying alcohol, formaldehyde, phthalates, synthetic dyes, PEG , MEA/DEA/TEA or EDTA formulation. Clean skin care should also be effective: we use a high percentage of lead ingredients (not just a drop) for high-performance skin care. By cutting out the middlemen, retailers don't have the mark of ridiculous profit increases, so we can offer everyone an exceptionally clean skincare product with surprisingly priced, highly concentrated ingredients.
