Gladskin was born from the discovery of the role of endolysin proteins in maintaining a balanced and healthy skin microbiome. The breakthrough was made by Professor Dr. Martin Loessner's Department of Health Sciences and Technology Laboratory at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Our science is founded on the belief that we must respect the complexity of nature when addressing health problems. We believe in truly restoring health, not simply relieving symptoms (although we do too). We respect the fact that the human body has evolved naturally over billions of years. We believe we are on the verge of a scientific revolution that will redefine health thanks to the new science of the microbiome.
