Alexandre Birman is a brand founded by the Brazilian footwear designer of the same name (born October 1, 1976), who is a student of the fashion house "Alexandre Birman". His trademark is known for the use of special animal skins such as snake, crocodile, lizard and ostrich. In November 2009, Alexandre Birman was awarded the "Vivian Infantino Emerging Talent Award" by the trade publication Footwear News.
Alexandre Birman teamed up with designer Prabal Gurung to launch her own fall collection during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2010.
