In 2012, Anine Bing and her husband Nicolai Nielson (current CEO) co-founded the eponymous womenswear brand ANINE BING in Los Angeles. Originally inspired by Nordic minimalism and American dynamism, Anine Bing came up with the idea of creating a wardrobe staple for the modern woman, while helping women show off their individuality, pursuing a "timeless and rebellious" aesthetic .
By now, the ANINE BING brand has taken shape in sales and has a large following on social media. As of now, the ANINE BING brand is sold in more than 300 boutiques around the world, with eight flagship stores in Los Angeles, New York, Paris, London, Barcelona, Madrid and Berlin, of which the store in New York's Soho district was newly opened this year. In addition, the ANINE BING brand will open its second Los Angeles store in September, and plans to open two additional stores in the U.S. and overseas in 2018.
