Balenciaga is a French luxury brand belonging to the Kering Group. Its products mainly include men's and women's ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes, fragrances and accessories.
Cristóbal Balenciaga founded Balenciaga in 1917, settled in Paris in 1936, and died in his hometown of the Basque Country in Spain in 1972. In 2001, Kering took control of Balenciaga, re-establishing Balenciaga as one of the most influential brands in the fashion industry.
