Church's dates back to 1617, when master shoemaker Anthony Church handcrafted shoes in Northampton, England, a town that has been known for producing quality footwear since the Middle Ages. His descendants followed suit, founding Church & Co in 1873. Church still manufactures products in Northampton, while its 62 directly owned and operated retail stores now span the globe, with operations in London, Paris, Edinburgh, Milan, Berlin, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai and Beijing.
