Kate completed high school in the small town of Camden in south-west Sydney, and shortly thereafter studied a Bachelor of Fashion Design at Whitehouse School of Design in the Surry Hills. Her first label began as a university project, handcrafting delicate lingerie from cut vintage French lace, but quickly became an international success, bringing it into the industry when Kate was 20.
Since then, she has worked her way through a host of prestigious Australian design firms, gaining rigorous training, invaluable experience and countless passport stamps, all of which have shaped the very essence of KATE FORD.
