Target Optical is an optical company with locations in Target stores throughout the United States. Target Optical was founded in 1995 by Cole National Corp in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2004, Cole National was acquired by Luxottica S.p.A. of Italy, which included other Cole National holding companies such as Pearle Vision. Luxottica merges Cole's operations into its North American Retail Group and the Cole structure dissolves. Target Optical is headquartered at the North American Retail Group headquarters in Mason, Ohio.
