Three friends founded Slowtide in 2015 in California and Hawaii as an outgrowth of their lifestyle. After a long day at the beach, they realize that not having towels is both exciting and fulfilling their daily needs. So they set out to create one. Dario Phillips, Kyle Spencer and Wylie Von Tempsky quit their corporate jobs to create a new canvas for art in the form of a towel. Inspired by all bodies of water and a love for art, Slowtide is a collaboration of three friends who wanted to communicate their way of life through unique products.
