The Mabel's Labels story began in 2003 when four busy moms noticed a huge gap in the durable kids' labels market. Julie Cole, Julie Ellis, Cynthia Esp, and Tricia Mumby, frustrated with their children's stuff getting lost, mixed up, and leaving the house never to return, knew they could do better than being scribbled on masking tape posing as labels. From there, the product idea was born: the best personalized waterproof name tags and tags that are equally cute and durable.
