Proactiv, also known as Proactiv Solution, is an American skincare brand developed by two American dermatologists, Katie Rodan and Kathy A. Fields, and launched in 1995 by Guthy-Renker, a California-based direct selling company, that is endorsed by celebrities. The line includes moisturizer, body wash and hair care, but the brand is best known for its three-step acne-fighting kit consisting of cleanser, toner and lotion. Proactiv+ is a reformulation of the three-step kit that was launched in 2013.
