Carve Designs began when two friends, Jennifer Hinton and Thayer Sylvester, took a surf trip to San Pancho, Mexico. As we lounged in our hammocks waiting for the waves to roll in, we lamented how hard it was to find swim trunks that could keep up with us—real women with real bodies and a real passion for adventure. And thus, Carve Designs was born. Carve Designs style represents our ethos: fun-loving, hard-working, confident and inclined to get where we want to go.
Carve Designs started as a surf apparel company selling rashguards and boardshorts in 2003 and has since grown into a full beach lifestyle brand; offering surf, swim, balance and lifestyle apparel. We're committed to providing effortless women's clothing that really fits real women, while keeping us connected to the feeling of calming content that inspires us on the beach.
