CQY Denim's mission is to make the Cowboys beat in Los Angeles. We design and produce high-quality jeans with a focus on sustainability and made in Los Angeles. After 19 years in the Los Angeles denim industry, CQY founder and die-hard Lakers fan Samuel Ku is heavily invested in seeing his hometown maintain its dominance as the world's foremost denim city. So when he saw a disturbing trend of brands leaving their Los Angeles factories to produce cheaper products overseas (but charging customers more and more each year), his mission was clear: to start a line focused on his A denim collection for the community and really showcasing what the best of the factory world can do, with a focus on sustainability. CQY was born.
