The Riffraff store opened in February 2009 when owner Kirsten Blowers was 21. Kirsten started out selling her refurbished and hand-painted furniture, but soon expanded to include clothing and small gifts. As Riffraff grew in popularity, more and more people started calling to ask if they could order by phone and have it shipped. Riffraff started selling new arrivals through our facebook page and coined the term "run and ship" through their huge facebook followers. Kirsten then decided it was time to take her business online. In 2012, shopriffraff.com was launched and was an immediate success.
